By accessing or using Graid ("the Service"), operated at graidapp.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Graid is an AI-powered grading assistant that helps educators grade handwritten student assessments. The Service uses vision-language models to read and evaluate student work against teacher-provided answer keys and rubrics.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use teacher features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service to process data unrelated to educational grading
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (answer keys, student submissions, rubrics). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. AI-Generated Grades

Grades and feedback produced by the AI are suggestions only. Teachers are responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and finalizing all grades before returning them to students. Graid does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated results.

7. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to grading errors or data loss.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
